JINSHIN JYUTSU - THE ART OF BEING

A Japanese form of gentle acupressure that is non invasive and can be had in conjunction with all medical treatments to enhance recovery and restore harmony.

jinshin-jyutsu-1Different energy flows and energy points within each of us move all around our body in the ascending and descending order pathways. These pathways of energies are known as flows. Jin Shin Jyutsu identifies 26 “safety energy locks” where energy concentrates along the pathways. These sites act as circuit breakers, shutting down and restricting the flow of energy, to protect the body when injury occurs or the imbalance of everyday physical, mental and emotional stress.

Touch is applied to points corresponding to specific areas in the body, supporting the natural flow of the body’s energy.

Jin Shin Jyutsu is a healing art with a history of over 5,000 years. A Japanese sage named Jiro Murai rediscovered Jin Shin Jyutsu in the early part of the twentieth century. His 3 key students included Mary Burmeister (a Japanese American), her father and Haruki Kato. Mary Burmeister brought the art from Japan to America in 1954 and through her teachings, books and thousands of classes held around the world this awareness continues to grow.

In combination of her awareness of the body and her experience with bio-energetic therapies Donna has found Jin Shin Jyutsu to be a therapy that successfully allows the person to regain a state of balance and harmony which they can continue to help themselves with at home.

Jin Shin Jyutsu can be had in combination with massage or on its own.

Throughout the session the person lies comfortably with out removing clothing and will feel relaxed and may go to sleep. A session either for an hour or an hour and a half.
